Russia Kicks it Old School
This decade pulled us out of the peaceful, economically sound cushion of the 90’s and slammed us back into a world of terrorists and caustic international politics. But, we’re not the only country “Bringin’ it back.” Russia celebrated the 63rd anniversary of VE day with tanks and missiles, their first display of such military might in 18 years.
Meanwhile, press photos show Putin standing behind Medvedev, the new president, in that special supportive, “who’s your daddy,” way.
Retro Russia is way rad!
Of course, it’s just a little display for political reasons. But it sure looks like fun! Soviet flags. Cool! Maybe next year they can invite some hipsters with hammer and sickle T-shirts and matching red bandannas.
